And in a bit of soul archeology I remember when I first bought it: I purchase it together with a twin companion cup in a small gift shop on family summer vacation when I was about 10. Just the previous year me and my elementary school best friend had discovered a tiny knick-knack shop in the cobble-stone paved small neighborhood shopping street close to our homes that also sold loose tea. We quickly made a habit of trying new and different varieties from the fruity aromatized Wild Cherry and Pineapple to the aquired taste of Russian Caravan or Lapsang Souchong. And the two cups found in the gift shop matched perfectly in style and color the first tea set my parents gave me: Brown, simple clay.
