Art & Design
Fun thing about Dandelions: They have hollow, very fragile stems which drip a milky, slightly sticky but thin kind of sap when cut.
If you slice the stem lengthwise with the fiber and put the buttery yellow flower in water, it will float with its head on the water surface while the stem will curl up into tight green ribbons just like the tail ends of a fancy bow on a nicely wrapped present. The thinner the cuts, the tighter the curls. :)
A Revival of the "Daily Doodles"
P.S.: On another bright note: Another one of the pen & ink drawings has been taken in by a friend: "Death coming to Tea". It is always gratifying to find a home for my drawings and paintings - after all, even though I enjoy their company, it can get a bit crowded with all of them in our apartment.
Art in Hawaii
Living in Hawaii is an inspiring experience, both artistically and spiritually.
